At Scensibles®, we believe menstrual care disposal should be safe, discreet, hygienic, and dignified.
What started as one frustrating restroom experience nearly 20 years ago became the foundation for an entirely new category in menstrual hygiene solutions.
Our founder, Ann D. Germanow, was inspired to create a better alternative after encountering an unsanitary and overflowing restroom receptacle — and a sign instructing women not to flush tampons due to plumbing costs.
The question was simple: what was the better option?
At the time, there wasn’t one.
Women were often forced to choose between flushing menstrual products and risking costly plumbing issues or using visibly dirty, unpleasant receptacles. It was a problem that affected not only restroom users, but also cleaning staff and facility operators.
Ann knew there had to be a better way.
That belief led to the creation of Scensibles® patented personal disposal bags — an innovative solution designed specifically for the discreet and hygienic disposal of pads, tampons, liners, and other menstrual care products.
From our original patented disposal bags to refillable compact dispensers, all-in-one dispenser receptacle units, and our SecureFit360® receptacle liner bags, Scensibles has become a trusted leader in restroom hygiene and menstrual care disposal.
Today, our products are used in homes, workplaces, schools, healthcare facilities, hospitality spaces, and high-traffic commercial environments, including Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
